Global Director, Financial Times Career Management has spent 12 years in the job board industry, starting at The Telegraph Media Group in 2004 and latterly at The Financial Times since 2008. In 2006 he successfully re-launched Telegraph Jobs which led to a period of exceptional growth. Two years later he joined the FT to become Managing Director of exec-appointments.com, a recent FT acquisition and the leading senior executive job board in the UK. He has since built Financial Times Career Management, a business unit that encompasses Recruitment, Business Education and the FT Non-Executive Directors Club and Diploma.
Andreea is the co-founder and CEO of Opening.io, an AI-powered engine that provides matching, predicting, recommending and intelligent search technologies for job platforms. She has a background in programming, journalism, product management, business development and entrepreneurship. Andreea is a startup mentor, having mentored in all the major incubators and accelerators in Dublin but also London, Tel Aviv and Berlin. Andreea was involved in running the Irish wing of an EU funded accelerator (4.5 million euro fund), was the Head of Product Management in the largest Irish media trust and has previously founded companies, Opening.io being her fourth venture. Speaker, tech event organiser, lecturer and lover of the outdoors.
For the past 16 years Anna has been working in various roles combining her knowhow in HR as well as her passion for digital and fast growing companies. She understands the challenges which corporate HR departments are facing.
Anna also understands the difficulties of building up innovative yet pragmatic HR activities from scratch in early stage startups. Having been a Managing Director in a young HR company she has great knowledge of the difficulties founders face in building disruptive HR services and selling them to prospective clients.
Anna now focuses on enabling HR professionals to be part of the evolution of talent management. Her clients vary from digital startups to corporate HR professionals and anything in-between.
Rob Brouwer is the CEO of Jobrapido since 2014, after 20 years of experience in the off and online recruitment industry and more than 15 years of experience in leading and transforming companies. Before the role in Jobrapido, Rob Brouwer spent 12 years at Monster Worldwide where he oversaw global expansion strategy and execution in Europe, Africa and Latin America.
Rob Brouwer speaks five languages and holds a degree in Dutch Business Law achieved at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1994.
Jeff is the Chief Operating Officer at Stack Overflow where he runs the business behind Stack Overflow’s network of Q&A communities, including advertising sales and Stack Overflow Talent. Before joining Stack Overflow, Jeff was Founder and CTO of Allworx Corp which reached a successful exit in 2007. At Allworx, Jeff was head of product development for Allworx’s line of VoIP hardware and software products, the lead on the company and product strategy, and somehow even managed to continue to write and ship major pieces of embedded C/C++ code (at least occasionally).
Joe Stubblebine is the Vice President of Recruitment Media Sales at Nexxt and has a varied career in the recruitment marketing space.
Joe has worked for many notable brands including Glaxo SmithKline and Hershey’s.
Prior to joining Nexxt (previously Beyond), he cofounded and managed JobCircle.com, a robust regional career site that was acquired by Beyond in 2012.
Joe’s entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude allow him to stay up-to-date with everything happening in talent acquisition technology and that allows him to help clients make killer hiring decisions. He’s a proud dad, passionate boater, and U2 super fan.
Melissa is a marketing manager at Uber and helps lead efforts for driver acquisition through job board channels. She has a background in digital media marketing and advertising with experience including strategic planning, analytics, and programmatic digital media buying and optimizing.
With proven ability to drive bottom-line success through developing and executing highly effective marketing strategies at a global level she thrives on new challenges and moving the industry forward. Specializing in performance based acquisition advertising she is constantly looking to innovate and deliver effective global campaigns through performance media and data.
Before launching Adzuna six years ago, Doug was COO of property portal Zoopla. From 2008 he led the growth of the team from 5 to 75 people and the site to number 2 in UK property with 5M visitors a month, organically and through acquisitions.
Previously he was MD of Gumtree.com, the UK's largest classified ads site, where he built the team and business through a fun growth ramp after acquisition by eBay in 2005.
Prior to Gumtree, Doug worked for eBay UK, Bain & Company, Unilever and also as an entrepreneur.
Doug has a BA in English from Cambridge, an MBA from Kellogg, and hates to admit he is a qualified accountant.
Since 2016 Alex has been Managing Director of Careerbuilder UK. He is one of the pioneers of internet recruitment in Greece having been involved in the creation of Kariera.gr which is the number one jobsite in Greece. Kariera.gr was acquired by Careerbuilder in 2007 and in 2011 Alex became Managing Director of Careerbuilder for Greece, Cyprus and Spain moving to the UK in 2016. Besides Careerbuilder he works closely with NGOs to offer career and job search guidance to people that are excluded from the labour market.

Chris Forman is the CEO and Founder of Appcast. Lee Biggins is the founder and managing director of CV-Library, the UK's leading independent job site. Lee has always been an entrepreneur at heart, and even from an early age, his entrepreneurial spirit shone through.
Growing up in Fleet, Hampshire meant that Lee was just a short walk away from the Basingstoke Canal, and on hot days he would sell cold cans of coke to fishermen. This drive led to Lee running his own car washing empire as a teenager, and ultimately carried through to the developmental days of CV-Library.
Dr. Sebastian Buder has been a consultant for labour law for more than 12 years advising national and international companies on all aspects of individual and collective employment law. A special focus is the advising of domestic and foreign personnel service providers on labour, social insurance and civil law issues. He specialises in the contractual and actual design of the use of flexible personnel resources (freelancers, work contracts, temporary work, interim management).
Lars spent 10 years in Brussels working as an energy lobbyist and trustbusting for the EU, before he left to start EuroBrussels - a Europewide jobsite for lobbyists, economists, policy-wonks, consultants, lawyers and world-savers.
Already specialised in international experts willing to move to jobs in other European countries, EuroJobsites expanded into Science with PostDoc & Researcher jobsite EuroScienceJobs, and later EuroEngineerJobs, EuroPharmaJobs and EuroEnergyJobs. His team is focused on transforming the recruitment industry in Europe, the Middle East and Africa by enabling recruiters and staffing professionals to reach more candidates with relevant roles using LinkedIn as their primary platform. Alex Charles is Chief Product Officer of a new portfolio of b2C career services at Stepstone, one of the world’s leading job portals. Alex has a technology background, leading teams to solve problems in Banking, Media and HR. Back in 2000, he founded and grew his own business, the first company offering online CVs to millions of people in the UK and Australia. His passion is building services that genuinely help the life outcome of people. He is an active member of the product mgmt. community and enjoys sharing his successes and learnings with industry peers.

Louise is CEO of Jobg8 worldwide, which provides services to the Job Board industry. She has set up and led some of the most innovative job boards in the UK, USA and Australian markets since 1999. This experience put her in a great position to launch Jobg8 back in 2008. Jobg8 now manage over 10 million job postings each month to ensure that the right candidates are connected to the right jobs. All the while keeping the transactions and revenue within the Job Board community.
Richard is a successful serial Entrepreneur with over 22 years of working within the Online Recruitment and Digital Media industries. He's spent most of his career dedicated to using technology and the internet to revolutionise the recruitment marketing Industry.
Richard’s experience covers many areas of the online recruitment industry from job boards, as Managing Director of JobSite and a network of niche boards; within a recruitment consultancy as Head of Digital Marketing; and establishing the largest agency buyer of online advertising and Search Engine Marketing, which he later sold to WPP.
The use of Artificial Intelligence, combined with the emergence of Job Board search engines (aggregators), and the move to buying job advertising on a performance basis is game changing. No doubt it will have a profound effect on how we all recruit, as well as the structure of the industry we work in. Rishi Kapoor is the Head of Performance Marketing for Monster UK/IE. He has over 15 years of experience in performance based online advertising and recently has taken up a new role where he is focussed on aligning the recruitment sector to the mainstream consumer advertising sector by making recruiting ROI more transparent & accessible. He has also been actively involved with the Internet Advertising Bureau(IAB) helping formulate the best practices for the online lead generation & performance marketing sector. His B2C specialisation is helping him transform talent acquisition strategy for leading gig economy and forward thinking brands.
Stephanie is an associate in the Employment, Pensions & Mobility group at Taylor Wessing LLP specialising in all aspects of UK employment law, including drafting and negotiation of employment, consultancy and settlement agreements. She has developed a particular niche in relation to HR data privacy issues and the GDPR. She advises on a broad range of matters including recruitment and terminations, restructures and redundancies, TUPE, post-termination restrictions and the employment aspects of corporate and commercial transactions. Stephanie has contentious experience in the Employment Tribunals, the County Court and the High Court.
Andrew McCreadie is the Head of advertising development within Guardian Jobs and has worked within the recruitment adverting space for the last 6 years specialising in digital targeting and programmatic.
Following the development and successful launch of the Guardian Jobs' programmatic service for clients, Andrew has managed the response and development of all Guardian Jobs display, programmatic and data driven products, working with advertisers to run programmatic display campaigns via The Guardian's in-house managed service as well as managing the supply of inventory to jobs.theguardian.com.
