Description:
Potential candidate will join a highly dynamic equity trading group to develop/enhance a long-short Equities trading and Risk system. Ideal candidate will have built and maintained Java/FIX OMS in a long-short hedge fund or stat-arb trading desk. Candidate will have built and maintained Java and/or C # based trading and risk management application and must be familiar with all aspects of Equities Risk management. Knowledge of or experience working on an algorithmic trading system is a plus.
Technical Skills Required:
Languages: Java 5+ years J2SE, multi-threading, data structures and socket programming, socket/messaging based programming TIBCO messaging and other publish subscribe infrastructures is a must Knowledge of CEP (complex event processing) systems such as Coral8 or Esper is required 5 years experience in Perl/unix Shell programming Scripting: Perl/Python, R, AWK, SED, Bourne Shell OS: Linux Redhat AS, Windows XP Strong knowledge of Equities/Wombat Market Data and an understanding of Exchange/ECN connectivity Ability to deal with high pressure live trade issues on production trading Servers Passionate and self-driven and ability to work autonomously Refactoring GNU Make and ant build files. Create and implement plan for managing build environments and tool chains on both Unix and Windows Academic Background: - BS/MS/PHD - Computer Science/Mathematics
