Oracle E-Business DBA

You will support the Oracle Applications E-Business Suites environment.
Responsible for cloning and patching the E-Business environment utilizing
tools such as rapid clone, adadmin, adctrl and adpatch.
Responsible for developing a plan to upgrade the existing NCMS production
environment from 11.5.9 to 11.5.10.

Additional responsibilities are to provide remote production database
management and administration services for the Oracle relational database
management system in support of distributed business applications. This
includes performing oracle installations, database upgrades/migrations,
management of space, backup, recovery and performance tuning. The functions
of this position centers around the development, testing, support, and
operation of the mainframe, server, and data storage components and
facilities that comprise a large, multi-platform technologies
infrastructure.

Installs, tests, and implements complex system-level changes within the
technology infrastructure. Operates, maintains, and provides customer
support and consultation for a wide variety of complex technology components
and systems.

Qualifications:
A four-year degree in Computer Science or a related field is required and a
minimum of nine (9) years total IT experience. At least three (3) of the
past five (5) years experience in a large (>100GB ) production DBA
environment.

This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance.
