The ideal candidate will manage, configure and support software and patch distribution projects. The role requires the right combination of technical and interpersonal skills to contribute to a growing team, in high demand, to leverage BMC's Configuration Management Suite (formally known as Marimba) and Blade Logic, a set of powerful configuration management tools. As a member of the Enterprise Configuration Management Team, the IT Specialist will manage, configure, tune, report and create solutions to deliver software and patches to workstations and Servers in a documented, consistent, and repeatable format. The ideal candidate must have solid functional knowledge of, and experience with, BMC's Configuration Management suite. A good foundational background in server architecture, server configuration and Workstation and Server patch management is required.

Qualifications: 2-5 years experience using BMC Configuration Management tool (Marimba) or similar software distribution tools. 1-5 years experience using BladeLogic Ability to meet Service Level Agreements, present and communicate results with an emphasis on customer service Able to present technical information in a non-technical manner, multi-task, set priorities and meet project deadlines Excellent analytical skills Ability to coordinate integrated project activities Application packaging and MSI files, WISE Packaging Studio, Scripting tools such as ADSI, VBScript, batch.* Blade Logic* (THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT) Marimba
