Position Overview:
You will be part of a team that implements, designs and supports voice and data networks for the Federal Government within the DC metro area.

Responsibilities:
Supporting senior engineering with designing, planning, and implementing projects
Performing standard systems maintenance including updating Microsoft (WSUS), antivirus and Cisco
Supporting contracts maintenance, implementation and integration projects as well as trouble service calls.
Working effectively with multiple vendors and contractors in complex and highly critical systems
Complying with documented processes and procedures
Reporting network status
Updating network documentation
Updating Incidents and maintaining inventory

Qualifications:
Cisco Certification: CCNP/CCNA
Microsoft Windows Certification: MCP/MCSE
3+ years of experience with Cisco Hardware: Routers, Switches and Firewalls
3+ years of experience with Cisco Principals and Concepts: IP Routing and Switching, VPN's, Cisco Secure (TACACS+) and WAN Circuits (T1, DS3)
4+ years of experience with MS Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Principals and Concepts: AD (Active Directory), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Patching (WSUS) and Antivirus
