Jawood currently has an opportunity for a Technology Specialist.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify capability gaps between Legacy SQL server claims, Data mart and new Oracle claims data mart
• Identify and document business rules based on underlying SQL, DTS, and store procedures
• Document business requirements and functional specifications to close identified gaps
• Other duties may be assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics, Biostatistics or other related field is required.
• 2 - 5 years experience working with healthcare data (preferably claims data)
• 2 - 5 years experience writing SQL queries
• Solid understanding of healthcare industry
• Ability to work well in a team-focused environment is a must
• Excellent analytical, planning, problem solving, verbal, and written communication skills to express complex ideas
• Complex logical reasoning skills
• Highly accurate and detail orientated
• Track record of on-time on-budget project completion
