We are seeking a Network Engineering Team Lead for a 6-month contract-to-hire position in Washington, DC. Responsibilities: - Manage a team of approximately 12 Network Engineers - Understand tasking and timelines driven by customer requirements - Allocate resources against open tasks - Determine an optimal approach to task completion, while managing customer expectations and communicating progress and obstacles. Requirements: - A strong understanding of networking technologies and capabilities is required, as well as an understanding of product lifecycles. - The individual must be able to identify requirements, appropriately scope projects and estimate level of effort. - Flexibility is essential as priorities shift and the ability to recognize the dependencies with other organizational units and the capability to understand and refine engineering processes will be beneficial.
