Systems Administrator
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

12 month contract

Windows 7 prototyping FY10 to roll out in FY11. Selected candidate will be doing application compatibility testing, but will mostly be performing the day to day tasks of the Tier 3 Enterprise Support Group to free up the existing prototyping team.

REQUIRED:
Candidate must have Strong Client Administrations skills, as well as client troubleshooting skills, testing skills, and communications skills
Expert in Windows XP
Expert in Client Administration
Must have good Client Troubleshooting skills
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate discipline or six years related experience plus four years of related exempt experience.

PREFERRED:
Knowledge of VB Scripting
SMS Skills

Job Description:
Primary focus will be on third tier issues.
Organize and coordinate the resolution of system issues. Responsible for identifying and resolving system problems.
Responsible for creating system policies and procedures.
Responsible for mentoring entry level admins.
Will lead small to medium size projects. Non-performance impact can range from small groups to department wide.
Analysis - Demonstrates the ability to provide a logical, in-depth analysis of a problem or situation.
Cooperation - Takes personal initiative to proactively serve as team motivator creating strong morale and synergy.
Coordinating - Ensures that information has been received and accurately understood by all parties.
Customer Service Orientation - Provides customers with quality experiences, establishing and maintaining effective relationships.
Dependability - Ensures that all details of a project are accurate before delegating to others.
Judgment - Bases decisions on factual information and considers alternative courses of action before reaching decisions.
Planning - Develops strategic plans while anticipating potential obstacles. Relationships - Develops relationships with others that are based on trust.
