We are currently in search for an experienced SAP BI/MM Consultant in the Belle Chasse, Louisiana. This individual will need to be a subject matter expert for SAP Advanced planner & Optimizer Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling module.

-Actively engages the business to understand opportunities, builds strong partnerships in support of business and IT strategic plan and roadmap development, and ensures alignment of initiatives with organization objectives.
-Provides local technical support and serves as a subject matter expert for the SAP Advanced Planner & Optimizer Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (APO-PPDS) module. Technical knowledge of APO-PPDS is required.
-Supports power users and has a deep understanding on how SAP supports local business processes. Technical knowledge of SAP Supply Chain Execution (SCE), Materials Management (MM), and Business Intelligence (BI) modules is desired.
-Leads business process modelling, business process improvement, and change management activities in support of a global enterprise utilizing SAP.
-Able to work within the Global Process Owner, Regional Process Advisor, and local Power User networks to understand enterprise business objectives, assess alternatives, and complete a business case on recommended solutions utilizing evaluation criteria consistent with Business Value Realization goals.
-Must be familiar with and demonstrate experience in working with all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle model.
-Experienced in working with application development analysts, in order to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into IT technical solution specifications.
-Able to develop rigorous business user acceptance testing scenarios and test scripts, ensuring traceability to approved business requirements, and facilitates User Acceptance Testing.
-Coordinates with power users and with second and third level technical support to provide problem resolution and implementation of configuration changes and enhancements to SAP.

SPECIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS OR ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS/INFORMATION:
Bachelor's degree required in MIS or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
8+ years experience in IT business analysis or solutions consulting experience in an SAP environment is required.
5+ years experience with SAP is required.
Capable of working in a global, multi-cultural environment.
Multi-lingual skills are preferred.
Domestic and international travel may be required for the position.
Would like see demonstrated experience as an IT Business Analyst in an SAP environment, experience in BI/BW, and IT Project Management are all required skills.
