SQL/VB Developer

PCR, Inc. is currently seeking candidates for a contract to hire role with one of our retained clients in the Metro Charlotte, NC area. The role is schedule as a 6 months contract to hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and further development of current client applications in a fast paced development environment. The majority of the role will be focused on application maintenance, troubleshooting, building tables and structures, reporting (Excel) and analysis. Ability to work with VB6 is also a component.

The conversion salary range is listed in the $45,000 to $50,000 range with benefits.

SQL Developer

• 2+ Years professional experience developing in a MS SQL Server environment
• 2+ Years professional experience with Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
• Proven ability to write stored procedures and complex queries a must
• Table creation using SQL in a MS SQL Server environment
• Troubleshooting and application maintenance experience
• Ability to create reports in Excel
• 1+ Years professional Visual Basic programming experience; ideally with VB6
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred, but not required) or equivalent professional experience
• Stable work history, with limited transitions
