We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Structural Project Engineering Manager with Flood Control experience to join a leading Flood Protection Engineering Firm located in New Orleans.

We are searching for a Structural Project Manager with flood control or navigation structures experience along with heavy civil work type structures who can work fairly independent and has good communication skills.

Knowledge of Flood Protection, Flood Walks, Flood Gates, Pumping Stations is a plus.

Responsibilities include: establishing budgets, client interface, managing a technical team consisting of all disciplines, maintaining project schedules and budgets.

Requirements/Preferences:

* P.E. license.
* 10 years of experience in heavy flood control/navigation structures or heavy civil works projects.
* 10 years of structural design experience; a combination civil/structural will be considered.
* 7 years minimum of project management experience.
* Strong structural background.
* Familiar with design procedures and preparing plans and specifications
