What you would do:
- Manage the execution of multiple audit engagements, reviews, and compilations.
- Manage client relationships and expectations.
- Monitor the engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management throughout the year.
- Help expand the client base by identifying and growing current client portfolios.
- Generate new business opportunities and develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally.
- Draft and assist in the delivery of proposals for engagements and know the range of firm services.
- Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.
- Oversee the issuance and presentation of reports, observations, and other deliverables.
- Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training.
- Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
- Provide leadership in the timely and quality delivery of services that exceed the expectations of our clients.
What you would need:
- State of Illinois CPA license a must
- 5+ years of current public audit experience in one of the following industries: Banking, Real Estate, Construction, Insurance, Healthcare (large hospitals, nursing homes), Colleges/Universities, Manufacturing, or Retail.
