Are you a Senior Hardware Engineer or Electrical Engineer with strong schematic capture in Orcad. If so, read on.
We are looking for someone with strong schematic capture in Orcad or Cadence tools and layout in Allegro. We are a provider of commercial and military solutions. We have been in business for over 20 yrs!

What you will be doing!
- You will be responsible for the design and development of digital/analog circuitry for aerospace and space applications.
- Responsible for the design and development of new products as well as support and modify of existing products.
- Prior experience in writing product specifications, test plans, test procedures, etc.
- Responsible for concept digital design, parts selection, design simulation, detailed design, schematic and PWB Design Rules creation
- Support the layout of the cards, card and system level debug and verification.
- Support the cards/systems during environmental testing and entry into production.
- Support customers during integration of our products.
- Support proposal efforts for future and recurring business opportunities.
What you need!
- Minimum a combined of 8years of Digital and/or Analog Design experience.
- 5+ years of FPGA design and development with Actel FPGAs.
- Solid digital and analog design and troubleshooting skills.
- Multi-tasking and organization skills to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Presentation skills to present design on behalf of our company in design reviews and technical meetings with customers.
- Experience with development tools for design capture, simulation, and debug. In particular experience with OrCAD Schematic Capture, PSpice, etc.
- Design (not just working) knowledge of industry standard PCI/CompactPCI bus architecture is a MUST.
- Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as cohesively within a team environment with accountability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in space electronics design is desirable.
