What you need for this position:
- 10+ years of Overall Engineering experience
- 3+ years High-Level Hands-On Security Engineering experience
- Top Secret Clearance, or the ability to earn Top Secret (TS) Clearance
- Hands-on knowledge of Content Inspection (HTTP, SMTP, FTP)
- Must have at least 2 of the following certifications:
(CISSP, CISA, CISM, SSCP, Certified Ethical Hacker)
- Experience with MANDIANT, IBM Security, Proventia, F5 Security, Big-IP, Blue Coat Security desired
* CISSP is Highly Desirable*
- Must have experience with 2 of the following security tools:
(AirDefense, Bigfix, Blue Coat, CA,Check Point, Configuresoft, F5, Guardium, Guidance Software, IBM,Security Systems, Imperva, Juniper, Loglogic, McAfee, Motorola, NetForensics, Network Critical, RSA Security, Surety, HelpDesk, SSH, Tripwire, Tufin, Tumbleweed, Veracode, VMware, Vormetric, Websense, Workshare, Alterpoint, Application Security, Netwitness, Securify, Skybox, SPI Dynamics)
*Check Point experience Highly Desirable*
- Must be open to travel/commute to client sites within the DC metro area

Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate design, installation, configuration and support services for our core security products.
- Perform work described on technical proposals delivered to clients
- Ensure excellence when delivering technical solutions to clients.
- Maintain responsibility for security solutions, such as; Firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, content inspection (HTTP, SMTP, FTP), authentication of VPNs and security assessments.

What you'll be doing:
- Assessing client's network environments and recommending suitable security solutions
- Design and deploy security solutions with our supported security products
- Proper configuration and modification of solutions
- Provide continuous technical support in order to enhance the client relationship and overall completion of technical projects
- Perform knowledge transfer/orientation to customers as an essential element of our security solution deployments
