Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required

Experience: 5 years or more

Languages: Speak English, Speak French, Read English, Read French, Write English, Write French

Specific Skills: Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced, Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions, Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts

Work Setting: Help desk, Telecommunications industry

Computer and Technology Knowledge: Windows, Extranet, Intranet, Internet, Servers, Applications - desktop, File management software, Office Suites

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Sound discrimination, Sitting

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
